Friday's Blessings

Awoke to this!!!!!

...as i reached the bottom of the stairs, i saw this and thought...i am going to fix that little face of hers...it's just too dark.

then i did and i was glad and she was brighter and happier!!!

then, la la la, on my way to work...

wait...is that a twister up there...will we be swooped up, car and all?...

nope...just an enormous expanse of BEAUTIFUL sky... i wonder how many people noticed this as we drove by?...

arriving home, turned around and ...snapped a shot...

as the sun went down...

Very GRATEFUL woman!!!

  2. Amazing photos!!! I really have to start paying more attention to the sky around here. It's ususally gray, but sometimes we have some great sunrises especially over Lake Erie. And of course I love your little girl with her friends--how fun!

  4. Isn't it interesting how we can just make a change in tone and the image looks so much better? I've noticed this with photos, too. I think it's okay, but there's just something amiss..

    What great Sky Photos!!

  7. All that clear clean color with no effort on our part has reason enought to be thanful. I love that little girls legs, I have been practicing legs, not as hard as hands are for me, I sort of like knobby knees and funny socks, and then the shoes.

It has been so beautiful here 20 degrees above normal so warm and pleasant to do things outside. Even if the trees are bare it is still beautiful.

  8. Oooh, more knobby knees!! LOVE!!! As always, your humor comes shining through in this painting, wanda. Love the words..love the birds, and the little girl..love all of it!!

Absolutely gorgeous sky pictures. And, that sure does look like a twister. I've seen a few that looked just like that.

  11. ya' made me laugh carolyn my love...yes i did pull over for these...but i did have a close one the other day, and promised myself to be more careful...i'm not sure what that means, 'cause i got a "choo choo" train shot the other day as it was passing the overhead rails and i was sitting at a red light...ooops, how come all those horns are honking, eesh, it's me, bad bad me...xoxoxo i think i might insert that when i post the pics, although some might not see the humor in it, ESPECIALLY you who have ridden with me...c'mon...lets go catch the rails and leave all this family stress behind!!!!!!!!

    is RIGHT!
    your arms
    are clearly
    outstretched
    wide
    & catching
    the sky
    like butterflies...
    shining, illuminated, breath-taking/giving.
    love to you! xoxox
