PHTHALO BLUE 4 DAY WEEKEND...

has this happened to you...100 works in progress...well, that might be a bit of an exaggeration :))
as some of you know i was intuitively painting (and in love with it) and then misty showed up, demonstrating how she goes about painting abstracts...so there i was...taking a free class with tracy bautista, while indulging in misty's class and many things coincided, WONDERFULLY, EXCITEDLY...as much mixed media does!
i LOVE NO RULES, NO RULERS, NOBODY telling me what i can and cannot do, heh heh
 ...then out comes SOUL PAINTING!!!
AND this one actually has two girls riding a bike, that is drying as i write, that i promise to show some day!
OH THE COLORS, COLORS
MY fav right now is PHTHALO BLUE (green shade)
when you add white or off white it just enhances it even more!
i wonder what my favorite color will be by the end of my painting day TODAY?

I wish you all a MARVELOUS or even just plain ol' weekend WITH love and maybe a little paint thrown in...(i am remembering some summers when i snuck away from company to paint just a wee bit, and was found out by family members, with smiles on their faces)!

HAPPY PAINTING FRIENDS!
XOXO

  3. You know what I love besides all those colors taht are so clean and bright, in those last two, that vertical way it make the eye travel and then not stop but go back down again. You have tolove this work and have a new feel or another feeling besides your faces this is like new shoes that you love but not quilte like the old shoes that give you comfort.

  8. You're such a rebel! and good at it, too! :D I absolutely love that you have so much fun doing abstract. I did one last weekend, and it truly exhausted me..in a good way. But, I think that's why I haven't painted anything since then.

I'm in love with your abstracts..as I've already told you in email. <3 And, I love how happy it makes you to do them. That's what art is all about, baby. Happiness!! Ahhh!!
