Hey...back on track...what happened to NEW LIFE comment?
read, really really really read about what comment to leave...it's not imperative, but it sure started out special, soo....leavin' it up to YOU's!! :0)
This hangs 4 1/2" X 7 1/2"
This has a lot of personal handwork in it, so yep, there is love too! the piece of silk i dyed. embroidered a flower and fabric. the photo (on postcard paper, so it won't get ruined as a photo paper would) is from my painting, "she brings flowers".
Just leave a comment if you are interested, about:
NEW LIFE...it can be serious, or not. it could be anthing from a new puppy to a new fingernail that grew out after being smashed...the sky is the limit...we'll pick a name from a hat on January 2, 2011! Good luck!!
This is a huge HEARTFELT thank you for so much support, fun filled delightful comments, serious "stuff" and all the in betweens you have given me!

  1. new life....I think that it happens or CAN HAPPEN daily...minute by minute. Its a choice that life right now doesn't work, and that a new choice would have it work. Making a choice that life as you know it at this very minute doesn't have to look a certain way and that you have a choice in how to create any new life you want.

  2. New life . . . when you're feeling very middle aged and running out of steam and then you become inspired by an (even) older woman who's still buzzing along and having a blast . . you suddenly feel young again: Recharged and ready-to-roll!
    She's beautiful Wanda!

  3. It's all about the attitude. Look at everything through a child's eye--everything then becomes new and exciting!

  4. Everyday is a start of a new life but lately I have been thinking about some of my own family traditions and how I would love for some of my grandchildren and children to keep them going. This Christmas I watched my oldest daughter do alot of stuff with her children like I use to do with her so I guess its already happening. Old traditions with new life. Your piece is Beautiful!

  5. When I think of new life I think of meeting my children for the first time. I now have 3, but each experience was so different and undescribable. It is something I will never forget. Watching as they take their first breath or scream :)The first time they focus their little swollen eyes on me. The warmth of their fresh, pink skin, and knowing that this is the most precious gift I will ever receive. This is the one thing-even as a kid- I've always dreamed of experiencing...a goal I have always wished to reach. I thank God for this wonderful experience of new life.
