in my journal, on this particular one...I tried to stick to only 2-3 colors
I really enjoyed it and just let go at times and then left for a meal...
and then started noodling the faces too much...
and that's okay,,,i learn so much
from painting and gluing in these books...
SO MUCH comes out of us when we just let it flow and/or take some jaunts elsewhere with brush, paint and heart...
I am just now finding out,
HOW EDUCATIONAL
FUN
FREEING
REVELATIONS
NEW EXPERIENCES
ELATION (with frustration)
putting it down with no
GRAND EXPECTATIONS
A start in my journal of playing with pretty colors,
seeing where my inspiration would wander...
picked up a charcoal stick and an ANGEL came into view...
I wanted it to just flow with simplicity and clarity...
and I lucked out...she is quite simplistic
I even tackled a palette painted flower,
INSPIRED BY...
my friend http://katherinjeannewood. has just finished with a 30 day series on the subject, and I adore her work.
it was so new and fun...I shall attempt more flowers this way.
thank YOU Katie!
this portion of "LOVE" is from one of my monoprints (copied and color changed)
exciting to me!!!
I did this just before retiring last evening
they are 2 different pages...
side by side in a different journal I sewed up this week.
they will be a start for this morning's journey ;)
I am so excited about them too!
and I just finished this yesterday for one of my nieces..
she just rented a new apartment for she and her son, and
I will be surprising her with it when it's framed.
yes...I'm excited about that too ;)
HAVE A VUNDER FILLED WEEKEND
MY FRIENDS!
