BOO!!!

 BOO
Tomorrow is October
Here is my first witch
of the season...

I finally let July fade into the past...

We are picking up this SISTER, COOKIE,
from the airport tomorrow night,
then whisking her off to Dinner out.

I have 100 nieces and great nieces.
Well probably not quite that many...

This is one niece and 2 great nieces,
one year..
LOVE THEM ALL TO PIECES!!!

GOLD has been dropping from the sky lately...
Such BEAUTIFUL sunsets we are blessed with!!!

I have 2 classes going and company for this entire month and now more.
We love that...
but I
HAVE TO SNEAK OFF
and drop ink now and then
hee hee hee...

So Special yesterday...
we celebrated
Nama's 88th birthday,
and by her side is Mary, 71
and then there is Aunt Avis, 100!

I tell ya', she is a smilin' jack,
gets so tickled over the smallest of things (always been that way)
and her smile lights up the entire earth!

Getting ready to
CELEBRATE
A NEW
MONTH.

HAPPY OCTOBER FRIENDS!

CLASS TIME...

 TRACY VERDUGO'S newest online class...
I won a free spot...
yes I did, squealing gleefully.
BEFORE class started,
I sent for the supplies I needed,
and FW Daler~Roney Acrylic Artist Inks were on the list...

WHEN they arrived in our mail...
I just went right to town experimenting with them...
OH MY GOODNESS...
they are so GORGEOUSLY INTENSE in color...they are amazing...
give them a go, my artist friends, if you haven't already!
This piece is with mainly layers of the luscious inks with a little acrylic dabbed in!

INSIDE the right flower reads;
"RELEASE YOUR WORRY"

We will be starting week 3 this Tuesday.
i am still in week one.
Trying out and experimenting with the lesson on
Scratch-Foam Boards from Dick Blick (very inexpensive)
We were instructed to do a large one with MONO PRINTING (which i adore)

i chose my giant dragon fly wings for my print.
For some reason they turned out so dimensional, i was ecstatic and need to ask Tracy "why" so that i might do some more in a similar fashion!

Last night i cut down my gigantic (left over) paint paper that i tape to a double closet door.
i will be using pieces and parts in my collage paintings and am really excited about that too;)

i only moved on to making some smaller stamps for my personal paintings...

starting out SIMPLISTIC rather than elaborate (per usual) and then graduate to more complex ones as time goes on. This was a very fun project.

On a very sad note...the morning skies look
TREMENDOUSLY...

STUNNING during these many fires in California (we are safe)
reminding all of us around here how lucky we are to (once again) have our homes intact.
i cannot watch the news anymore of late, seeing people break down while explaining what they and their families have lost...
simply...
PRAYING...
PRAYING HARD.

HAVE A WONDERFUL CREATIVE WEEK MY FRIENDS \
XOXO

It's been too long...

I've been so busy...
Painting and Life

all wonderful!

 GREAT NEWS.

I got my act together,
portfolio of work for sale and sold work.
Took them and 5 paintings to put before a jury...
to get a spot in HIGH HAND GALLERY.
(you can look it up, California, it's a nursery with a café and much more)

it's such a HAPPY, INVENTIVE, CREATIVE,
spot in a little town called Loomis.
I was accepted and put on a wait list,
with an invitation only to show and demonstrate some techniques.
yes I am smiling, happy, grateful and YIPPEE KY A!
