I am thinking...have been thinking for a long while to stop blogging.
There are so many other avenues now and it's beginning to seem like this does not bring the delight it used to bring...we'll see...
as I was painting this the other night just before the sun went down...
this happened...
I had to run outside then and take photos of the sundown,
the INCREDIBLE sundowns!
I finished her in the morning and
SHE is at the bottom of this post ;)

this is a piece I have been slaving over...

I am combining the 2 classes I've been trying to take,
in between family fun, company, and company and
whew...just when we thought we were alone again...
more company (not that we don't love it/them)
we were so sad to have Cookie leave, but we all had a WONDERFUL
time with her,
ALONE, and together...that's our
HUGE LOVING FAMILY!
A FRIEND of OURS gave us a ton of bird seed,
this sock filled with thistle seed
and some bird feeders!
As if we don't have enough birds around here, NATURALLY...
in the spring time it sounds like a
BIRD SANCTUARY...
a crack up and wonderful the
CACOPHONY at it's best!!!
and then there are the SUNSETS
OVER AND OVER
that I just can't stop from photographing
they are magnificent and I have to
SHARE.
They need no other words...
I so miss all the discussions and sharing that blogging used to bring...
not that I don't have some loyal lookers...I love you and your words always!
I am guilty myself, if that's what you call it for not perusing other's...
so as I say...we shall see, sometimes things are just meant to be.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, you know I stopped posting blogs. I still visit others, but I can no longer put in the amount of time into creating meaningful blog posts (what used to bring me SO MUCH JOY) because my work is much too demanding and the only time I do have left for myself, I am trying to concentrate of my writing and photography. JOY has to be part of our art....all or nothing. Your photos are glorious, and I hope that YOU my friend, are well and happy. Continue to seek adventure and yes, blogging has changed, many have stopped not just posting, but VISITING....I wish you well dear friend. Anita
