MONDAY IN MARCH...

 Okay folks...
it started raining again.
Annnd
I am down to one handed
painting
gluing
cutting (ughh)
due to some health issues.
I AM MAKIN' it I tell ya'!
Nothing is going to stop me (I pray)

With practice, one can start doing things
beyond what we ever thought we could do!
Uh Huh.

And it's such a great thing that I have been going out on a limb with abstract.
I shall
KEEP GOING further...

A SUNNY WEDNESDAY IN MARCH...

I needed to post these today...

I am close to  being finished, but needed to see
how these show up in this setting.

There are 50 million layers on this painting.
And I have been working on it for months!

I just know that I am going to have to take it outside and
get better photos.

The brown/gold little squares are hand dyed fabric.

i'm smiling big...

THE SUN
HAS BEEN
OUT
THIS ENTIRE DAY.
aND WE HAVE EVERY WINDOW
OPEN OPEN OPEN!

AND NOW IT IS MARCH AGAIN...

 Just
when
I
think I am finished with a piece...
I wake up in the morning, noticing that little green/brwn
semblance of a building on the horizon.
So back to the drawing board.
I am going to add a few other little tidbits down on the bottom portion...

Close up of the abstract tree

 Cardboard, sewn painted papers..
The papers are from the 1980's.
They are so fragile until I add soft gel, I can barely pick them up. So fascinating what was published back then.

Book binding materials and excerpt from old newspapers!

 Mark making yesterday...

to use in my collage pieces.
EXTREME (not skiing)
joy in painting.

Remember the old photo albums I found in the good will?
Well that paper is DIVINE...
BACKGROUND COLOR
TEXTURE
TOOTH...
It lends itself to such a different avenue and feeling for me!

This one came as hail and rain poured more today.
My way of dealing with NO SUNSHINE here in the Northwest.
It's a good way...
pouring paint and sewing little new skirts for my stick girlies.

Flowering Plum
out through the screen in my studio.
It is magnificent this year!
Signs of spring that shall come one day soon I hope.

HAPPY MARCH FRIENDS!
