AUTUMN BEAUTY...

 Well now,

since previous post...

she made a few changes...

 She put on a paper undergarment...

Got out her cheesecloth apparel...

Her wings grew so that we could see them!

And she added flowers in her hair.

She may or may not hang with an exposed wire with beads or an unexposed wire on the back.

 This magical season of fall...

 continues to hang around...

This is what keeps me outside...

NO COMPLAINTS.

ALMOST THANKSGIVING DAY HERE in our neck of the woods...

 Listening to Christmas carols

tonight.

While painting on old wood to make a hanger for a gift.

I 

LOVE

painting on old wood and how the cracks and imperfections show up!

Need to find her words and make a hanger 

that will go well with her look.

 I'm about midstream

with this one.

I am so good at playing...

 My photo "thingy" that came with our computer,

updated itself yesterday.

So I played with it.

Seeing if i'd like to make the above painting into

flowers or the like.

Nah...don't think so.

But now I have a cute pic to glue on something for a gift.

And this

is a 

close up of the abstract.

I have some ideas running through my head.

But I never know what

the end will bring.

IT'S A TUESDAY, but i painted these faces YESTERDAY...and i only like one of them...

I've

been

working on...

old music sheets (they smell old)

paint, words, and charcoal

 Some of these papers are so

old

they almost crinkle 

under my fingertips

before I can glue them down

I LOVE THEM

 Yesterday...

I painted so many blues and greens

all over so many different

papers!

I think it makes me feel like i'm 

swimming in beautiful water.

 I do not

like her eye placement.

But...

I like her "feel"

so she will

remain thus!

 I continue to attempt

to paint my faces so they don't all look

the same.

Maybe I am finally making strides?

WRITING WITH A 

FOUNTAIN PEN (I love)

 Then I took lots of photos of these

I changed some on our "computer photography" thingy

 I was creating them for a specific few projects.

But like all good surprises,

I have already used them in other projects, before even reaching the intended ones.

I 

LOVE

when that happens!

I'll try to dig up where I used them and show you later.

 I am hoping not to bore anyone to tears,

but...

in having to search for baby pics of our one and only...

I thought I'd post these few and then share a few things that happened while and after the search.

This is our Erin Lea.

We adopted her as a newborn. 

YEAH...miracles do happen.

She's going to be 34 when she has her own baby in January. 

That is the exact age I was when we adopted her.

I love serendipity!

JOY

in our entire family.

 An added tidbit:

After searching and sending the photos off to her friend, I painted this little face.

It looks nothing like her.

Though,

I am constantly amazed at how much we are influenced by our own selves, putting our heart and souls into our work, eh?

People talk about this all the time...and then 

BAM

there it is 

right in front of me.

What the heck...I didn't even remember painting her, it was a couple of weeks ago.

 Today I played while my large paintings were drying...

I experimented with collage paper

and 

FW INKS.

I decided to make book marks.

I found out what I like and don't like.

In the meantime I have some little gifts to give.

Well...duh!

 I had a hankerin'

for some hot wax...

and so...

And

I hadn't painted a face in awhile...

so I pulled her off yesterday.

I see an 

UNINTENTIONAL

series of red and orange going on here!

Must be the season.

OH YES.

I MIGHT BE BACK...

 I feel like I should have something so

DRAMATIC here,

on my return.

Today is 89 degrees...wow, so changing mother nature can be!

Soon it might really be autumn...we'll see.

In the meantime...this felt like a whole new universe to me. And i'm hoping to be able to re-enter again, into my little blog world.
