IT'S OCTOBER NOW, in 2018...

I have been working on this one 

off and on all day with so

interruptions...

called 

LIFE!

STANDS STILL...

well maybe rocks, smile.

I put a photo transfer of 

pink dragon fly wings

in the left hand top corner.

I will show you

when 

completed.

 I stopped to

weave 

some papers

today...

 I was flying

too

high

and needed 

something to bring

me back down to earth...

These little weavings helped!

 I showed you this earlier

and I really thought it was finished!

Well..

umm..

I got ahold of it again and changed 

some lips

and added some more touches.

This is finished now

and hanging on the wall.

It's one of those pieces

that I just may keep...

we'll see as time floats by!

SUNDAY IN SEPTEMBER...wip

 I was so excited this morning when I started her...

and exuberant all the day long!

 All the different 

ideas came so easily

at first...

 She is not quite finished...

I couldn't figure out why

the finishing touches were coming so hard...

WELL...

I had to stop and make dinner for the family!

When I got back to her...

Let's just say I ran out of oomph

but I am still 

HAPPY

about her!

I will show you when I'm finished.

Her title is,

She's painted on the face of a wooden

cupboard drawer.

I just can't get the right lighting.

A FRIDAY, half way through June...

 a LONG time ago when I found an old piece of wood with nails sticking out all over...

I thought hmmmm…

YES! perfect for some cutesy mixed media painting. 

There are black and white beads hanging on the left,

if you can't tell.

This was very fun to complete!

 This week I had a 

"thank you" 

on 

Face Book

GIVE AWAY.

This was one.

 and this was another...

It was for the 

APPRECIATION

of all my supporters!

 And then

there was this.

There is gold leaf intermixed at the bottom

that doesn't show up in the photo.

 Every winner lives locally,

but for one, a niece!

So now all these people are coming over

and we get to visit!

 I never knew or thought

that so much delight

and endearment would

be attached to this episode.

Each winner left such beautiful

messages.

And with so much excitement!

The only sore point...

not having everyone win.

(sad face)
