 SHARING:

one of my favorite markings

are these that look similar to a sewing stitch...

using,

a sewing wheel (old fashioned roller thingy used over carbon paper for patterns)

i like it so much that i want to over use it ;)...but am able to hold back most of the time ;)

 

 

 

 

and

i

have

continued to practice

birds...

many different kinds,

to be continued!

GROWTH and life's TREASURES...

 I've been patiently

and not so patiently

working off and on.

taking it slow,

not rushing one bit.

 

 

 

 

 on these same 3 large pieces, still.

they change every day!

sometimes to the extreme.

and then I realize over and over

what other artists and teachers mean by

DON'T GET ATTACHED while layering.

I have covered EVERYTHING that I thought I would keep,

and it is all turning out so marvelous,

and SURPRISING.

GROWTH!!!

LESSONS, HUMOR, DEEPNESS.

That's just what it's all about and I am loving it so.

 art is so very

parallel

and

integrated

within our lives,

especially when we like it this way.

i just ran out of steam after painting and inking

all morning long...

it is GORGEOUS outside and the birds and sunshine are calling me.

APRIL FOOLS DAY...

 i was working on a little collage last night...

and then i closed my eyes and added the black

with a rigger brush.

when i opened my eyes i saw this little critter

taking shape on the left, adding an eye and a

piece of collage paper on it's face.

this morning i woke up and saw the second

loving face and shall add a little pair of ears

tomorrow.

We caught some kind of nasty bug

and have been hibernating for days.

It will soon be gone ;)

 this is a blob of black paint that I accidently dropped about 3 cards in while performing this card making task, so I left them out to dry and am going to use them...

THUNDER AND LIGHTENING on SATURDAY IN MARCH...

i am starting a new on line class Monday.

This is a book i made for this class.

i may add to it,

scribble on it,

load it down with more

paint and paper

as the class progresses.

it is here ;)

FRIDAY'S PROGRESSION...

and i can't get the perfect colors to show up in a photo...

except this is the closest to me.

 

i had 2 successful cataract surgeries

and i can see SO much better now...

 

only having a bit of trouble focusing...

BUT...

i have not stopped painting...

FRIDAY'S OPPORTUNITIES...

 After some miscommunication today,

missing out on a big opportunity

for my art endeavors...

with lots of work...

first a yes,

then a

"sorry too late "phone call.

I lost a tooth

and I cried a wee bit.

and then I opened my art journal and painted...

 

 

 onward and upward I go...

 

 

 

 

 

flying higher...worse has happened that's for sure.
