From Start to Finish...

The bottom face of an oven door
8" X 30" taped and gessoed, then sanded..

papers, chosen for collage...


white paint rubbed lightly over the collage papers...



paint applied...oooh, getting close here...

it's going to read, in teeny tiny letters...

    Oooh, Wanda. This reminds me sooo much of my step-dad..he got a little dog after my Mom passed away. I was sooo happy when I found that out because he was so lonely, and now he has someone to love and care for..he is so lost without my Mom.

    Your art just brought tears to my eyes. sigh.

    Your blog--all of it--warms my heart! I can totally relate--I'm a little older, never went to art school or any of that, and really only just began exploring my life-long yearning for more creativity in the past couple of years...been happier ever since!!
