FINISHED and UNFINISHED ARTWORK!

I've been working like a Trojan...too bad it's so doggone fun, eh?

She is painted on a barrel stave, oh surprise!

She is ready to hang and in my ETSY, on sale today, yes today...
just click on the etsy sign to the right of my postings

I posted this in the previous post...

not knowing where it would lead...

well, it has been a pure delight to work on...

and taking a very long time for me...
like days...

but it is SO WORTH it...I always learn more as I stop, step back and peruse, making decisions...
I am finished with her face...and she doesn't look like this photo anymore...

she has donned one of my favorite techniques...hand made "FABRIC PAPER",
which I tore off my wall, when I saw the colors were perfect and subtle for her garb!

when you peer closely, some little words, even show up...
LOVE when that happens!

I plan to tone her down all around tomorrow and then promise to show the end result!

I hope you all are having a most wonderful weekend, and I am praying for those in Kansas that are holed up waiting for the tornadoes to pass! oxox
