adding that i am on vacation break, leaving me good creative time...
she hasn't found her words yet...but they are milling around in that brain

i fiddled around with her in photoshop (something i am unversed in)
...and these were simply, the "POINT AND PRESS" stamp icon.

(Dots on noses - puuuuuuuuuuh!) :-)
I mean it, I am serious, I love your paintings - idea, composition, texture (!!!), colors, wording, light and dark, heart and soul, and all! And always with a twinkle! :-)
Dearest WANDA! GOOD MORNING!
ReplyDeleteYour work is one of my favorites out here in Blogland, and to know a bit about how you feel about this creative quiet time makes me feel good. Like with visual art, reading and writing also demands that quiet time to yourself, and I savor every moment! I want to thank you for coming over to my blog last night. We had the best time ever out in Southern Calif. - I grew up in a rough part of L.A., but lived for a short time when I got married in Whittier. My cousins now live in the Orange Co. area, but I told my husband that I needed to see the beach and Santa Monica was my beach of choice.
In high school, my pals and I would cruise the expensive streets to view how the other half lived and would then go to the beach. But what memories live the most poignant are the days when my parents took me there as a child. I had to see THEM in the horizon of the ocean once again.
THAT IS SO COOL that you still body surf! Hey, if we can still get our bodies to do what we love, then let's do it! I still dance a bit but wouldn't you know that when I came back home to snowy Minnesota, I shoveled my sidewalk and pulled my back?
Wishing you a fabulous new year of creativity that will make your spirit SOAR! Anita
Just wanna wish you a beautiful, healthy and very happy new year!
