Self Portrait~Wednesdays with Misty / Spring Oak Leaves
I thought this looked like an old hawaiian postcard with Old Auntie Mabel gracing the front. Nope, it's me in Panama with a wet scarf falling off my short hair...it's hot there, baby!
This is what we've been doing, my husband, Richard and I. He asked me to draw some oak leaves, then suprised me with these rods and leaves. We have some more work to do on the mechanics, but i love them (and him) and just wanted to share. I'm going to dye the cheese cloth soon!
Thanks for visiting my blog! No..they are not earrings..they are too big for that use...bought them in an antique store in Copenhagen just before Christmas....Thank you for asking!! Marit
it does look like a tropical postcard, very, very cool! i love it and am so glad you posted it! and the leaves....wow, beautiful... you sure know how to keep yourself busy in the best of ways, listen to me talk. ;-) xoxo
I cannot tell you how deep those oak leaves have touched me. The partnership, the sharing, the caring....It is pretty awesome to see you two explore...you guys are an inspiration...they look awesome, can't wait to get up there and see them in person!
