Following up with monoprints from Michelle Wards Crusade...
i printed and then cut up all the pieces from the monoprints...
throwing in a few random ones for good measure...after painting technique i exposed some of the collage pieces...
"just walk on by" is hand written over the paint...

I would like to step in and get a few, IN your display at the bottom I see some orangish birds that are just three by joyous accident.
ReplyDeleteYour girls is a charm, and her dress so blends with the composition yet is is visible.
I hope that you have had an artful day. I will soon, spring work called me all day and I did some of it. Now a few photos.
the video isn't a joke, but i can see why you'd think so..heehee but, honestly, i resort to meditating when i get real stressed out, and as you know, i have been pretty tense lately. i'm trying to meditate a few times a day now, and that video is pretty cool. if you watch it, make it full screen..the picture changes every couple of seconds..no scary stuff, tho..promise!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful those transfers, are those made from color copies? Helen

Hi Wanda, Thanks for visiting anfd for your lovely comment. I had fun checking out your blog!...love what you are doing, esp the fabric paper..how do you do that?..and your art is so lovely...you have a lightness of being that comes out in your work..and I love the colours you like....xx..julia
ReplyDeleteI haven't got around to trying MIchelle's challenge this month, but I have to say your work has inspired me!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I found your blog - especially seeing the bluebirds doing a spot of house purchasing. I wonder how they will furnish it??
Ok I am back looking at the art for birds and now I see them in the middle of the photo of all the pieces put out for your choosing when you want them. No time to try this yet, hardly time to gather my wits these days. But, I talk about scattered thoughts so gathering takes a bit of time.
ReplyDeleteShe is such a sweet angel.
cool idea for using your prints
ReplyDeleteGreat art work...
ReplyDeleteLove your creativity!
Love and light
