CHRISTMAS CHEER ... A Food Network???

he was waiting on the stairs when i came down this morning... he moved even closer to me...looking a bit impatient...
so i followed him...noticing there was a nest with eggs in his backpack, as we made our way into the kitchen...

yeast mix

turned out on a board to knead...

ahhh...here's one loaf, ready for the oven

...but i'm getting really hungry for lunch by now...how 'bout some green apples and chicken???

the loaf is out of the oven...along with my lunch...crunch...well actually it was soft and dreamy!

well now...i best be making some cinnamon rolls for richard...then when he gets home, i'll get lots more kisses...heh heh heh...
okay so, green apples and walnuts cut up, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon...

  1. Yum! Merry Christmas to You too. I make great cinnamon rolls but my 5 year old wanted the safeway ones so we bought those instead. My Mom used to make coffee, scrambled eggs and serve the storebought Danishes which I am now sort of liking the idea of more and more. :)

  3. Nothing like the sweet smell of bread baking and I am so interested in the chicken and apples baking in that loaf I have not done that.

Oh the delights of baking things, it took me forever but I did make applesauce cake with penuche frosting this afternoon, really good, seems so sweet after not rally having sweet things much this past month, but a lovely spice smell was in the house and it meant Christmas and doing something Christmas like.

  5. This whole post is absolutely delicious!! All I've been doing is baking cookies--child's play compared to this. I wish I could come over their for lunch. I completely enjoy and appreciate anything made by hand--food and otherwise.
Merry Christmas again to you--getting so close now :D
