she's just about finished..

flower petals dropped on her clothing

this is how it all started...

with stencils and paint lids and spray paint, oh my...

i have so much to share about art but my heart is too heavy at this time.

i shall be leaving next tuesday, hoping to touch and kiss my mother's cheek, one last time. if not i have let her go and have blown kisses on her wings to fly away, leaving pain and craziness behind.

i wish you all, artful loving days ahead, my mama would wish this for you too.

  1. Wanda, I can feel your sadness and it makes me sad too...
I have not so much words, - what can be said to comfort? I think of you...

  2. big love to you in your mom's last days...big big love.
& this dearheart who lives in a garden..i pray she stays by your side through all this. xox

  3. This came from your heart for your Mom--I'll be thinking of you--so sorry
    xo Diane

  4. Wanda you have created a delicate art work filled with soft gentle layers, its contemplative, perhaps a reflection of this moment in time. A hug to you - at this time.

  5. Oh Wanda,my thoughts and prayers are with you through this hard time. I wish I could give you a hug!
    Your art is beautiful!

  6. Wanda this piece is so delicately beautiful. I can see the love you are putting into it. Sending you a hug, and my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

  7. Wanda,

I'm so sorry about your loss

    Sending you much love.

  8. Oh Wanda, thinking of you now and for day to come. I recall and at the time I didn't realize the number of things we grieve for, so much, and even for ourselves and dawninag realizations.

Art was so important to me as I worked through so much, as I said so much I didn't recognize.

Lovely art, this post and the previous post, I also have a great understanding of being lost in the garden.

  9. Wanda, I'm thinking of you, praying over you and your family and sending you hugs of sympathy. Your painting is beyond gorgeous and full of emotion. So beautiful!

  10. I'm sooo sorry, Wanda. :( You'll be in my thoughts.

  11. Wanda, your work here is beautiful. I am sorry to hear about your mom, I know all too well how difficult this last goodbye will be for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you also for your kind words of support for me. I have learned how helpful such words can be! xoxxo
