INSPIRATION WEDNESDAY with Donna Downey...
has brought on much more than following her directions...
which is just what I was hoping for...
some fire lit under me and to journal more if I thought it would help...
well, this is just one of many little pieces I have spun in my journals...
AFTER following ALONG with her demonstrations...
I find myself jumping in more and more,
than I ever thought possible...
leading to inspiration for larger projects,
not intentionally, it has just happened!
not everything turns out wonderful...this is the last one
that I followed with her (Donna), which I don't like at all,
but learned IMMENSE new WONDERS;
1.~I am terrible with using stencils and plan to find out how to better utilize
2.~I would rather paint my cheese cloth first before putting it in place, (and have to check out WHAT SHE USED on this scheme, which was texture tape) I can still cover it up with other paint, but it's all easier for me the other way around ;)
3.~there aren't very many numeral stencils in the stores, especially compared to letters (so on line seems to be IT)
4.~I really like trading off, using white gesso interlinked with white paint
5.~i actually like that I have to wait for things to dry, I move around then, from project to project and it frees me up even more!
sooo...that's a LOT learned from one piece that I don't really care for and yet...
I seem to have the urge to make more and more angels...
just diving in my journals and seeing what transpires...
this is IMPORTANT business friends, the continuity to paint and glue with deep soulful intuition...
this would make a great card ;)
the RIPPLE EFFECT just continues to roll ;)
(EXCITEMENT FACTOR enters in)
we continue having the most BEAUTIFUL sunsets...
that cause us to GASP...
and to SHARE...
NATURE'S BEAUTY expands our INSPIRATION
I say!
HAPPY INSPIRATION WEDNESDAY FRIENDS
OXOX
You can see that you are really inspired. I love your angel.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU VERY INSPIRATIONALLY FUZZIE FINGERS ;)
DeleteGood morning Wanda! LOVELY reflections on your work......I think one of the best things about any art is that it gives us a chance to analyze what works and why. The gogs and wheels spin in our fingers and our minds, helping us make choices of strokes whether with paint or ink on paper. I too love the freedom that evolves from following certain directions used only as a map to get you started...the rest is whim and experimentation. That is where the artistic soul comes alive, and it SHOWS up in your work. Oh the JOY!!!!! Now I hope that this can happen for me as I write.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy another fine day of artistic expression. This is what makes living so special!
