I chose this to show you first...
Shawna's Beauty Salon...
is not just THAT!
it's a WONDROUS smallish space,
with CREATIVITY and
ART WORK everywhere!
This is a portion of one of DeAnna's
FRAMED mirrors, (full length they are.
They are at every station, as are my new girlie staves
for the art walk and the next 2 months.
my humorous paintings,
grouped together,
next to the hair driers ;))
our home has been turned up side down and then some,
as we readied for the art walk,
organizing, making it look like we live in renovation style,
all the live long day!
But hey, my paintings match our grey bench,
and grey and white pillows ;))
We'll have this out on the sidewalk,
offering tid bits for a small price...
they are affirmation boards, little angel hangers, cardboard sundries, etcetera )
more topsy turvy no mas!
BEFORE the sun went down one day,
after a short duration of THUNDER, LIGHTENING, and a TEENSY spot of rain!
GLORIOUS!
I wish you all could come visit at the art walk,
have a good time,
drink some wine and LAUGH with me!
I truly do!
xoxoxo
Good morning Wanda, how I' d love to be there, you know that! We are learning so much here as we peruse the art galleries, talking with the dealers. The fine art is outrageously beautiful (and expensive!) but what we are walking away with is the sense of devotion and community that it takes to make an art come alive, to make others come alive! I love seeing your art in a grander scale of a photo....to see how it fills a room! Your beautiful white-haired girls looks stunning on a wall with gray accessories!
ReplyDeleteDearest friend, I will be back!
GRATITUDE ABOUNDS for YOUR words, love and appreciation Anita. I so WISH you could be here too! THANK YOU XOXO
DeleteWOW!! Wanda, this is soooo cool. I wish I had known about the girl in the first photo because I would have bought it from you. LOVE her!! That red!! Let me know if she's still hanging after the walk.
ReplyDeleteThe sky was so beautiful. We've got some thunder coming our way tonight, and I'm really looking forward to it. It's been a week of almost 100F. I'm looking forward to a little cool down. Hope it's cooler for your art walk tonight. xo
