 Finally painted today,

 before leaving for Panama ;)

 

 

 

 

 swayed by the colors there

 faces on my mind,

i left the words exposed,

"half baked idea"

yeah...just can't live without humor

 but they are not Panamanian ;)

 

 

 

 

Photo Shop bus we road for 4 hours and still,

not arriving to our final destination...

 

we are tuckered out to say the least,

SUMMER VIBRATIONS...

 

 

JULY has been good to us <3 p="">

i am just popping in to wish everyone of you a continued

wonder~filled summer...

or

the season you may be in at this time all over the world ;)

 

 

 

 in between summer projects...

here are two smaller pieces

We take off the 22nd of July for

Santa Catalina, Panama

 

my sister Candy, husband Richard, and i, meeting Mike my husband's brother who lives in this part of the country.

 

it has always been adventurous, as this is not a pre-paid packaged deal.

And it is always surprising and interesting; meeting people from all over the world, hanging with the village people when we reach Catalina in finality.

 

Body surfing, fishing, and beach combing are at the top of the list.

 

My sister and i will be making "beachy" creations and i'll try to throw in a little painting here and there...we shall see...it's all part of the UN~PLANNED.. my MAINSTAY in life!

 

No phones, radios, internet...just hammocks, fresh fish and one another!

 

We mainly WALK everywhere...destinations are all close in proximity.

we will have at least ONE exciting/interesting tale to tell upon meeting you next...that's been an absolute "GIVEN" every time.

A NEW CLASS

AFTER THE ARTWALK...

 

 I started a section in my Pinterest...

with

simple

yes,

COLLAGE!

cutting up my left over paint papers

and paint...

it's been so long...

I don't know how to correct this,
except to start all over completely...

 My sister Candy gave us a milk can...

looked so "other worldly".

There were trees above and below it

and I thought I might be able to capture that...

but it was so pitch black...

it took a form such as this!

 

 

 

 

 

 I am back in my journals...

 

 

 

 

 

and taking another art class for 12 more days!

 

and finishing up an 16" x 20" canvas painting...

AUBURN ART WALK JUNE 2015

 I chose this to show you first...

Shawna's Beauty Salon...

is not just THAT!

it's a WONDROUS smallish space,

with CREATIVITY and

ART WORK everywhere!

This is a portion of one of DeAnna's

FRAMED mirrors, (full length they are.

They are at every station, as are my new girlie staves

for the art walk and the next 2 months.

 

 

 

 

 

 my humorous paintings,

grouped together,

next to the hair driers ;))

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 our home has been turned up side down and then some,

as we readied for the art walk,

organizing, making it look like we live in renovation style,

all the live long day!

But hey, my paintings match our grey bench,

and grey and white pillows ;))

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 We'll have this out on the sidewalk,

offering tid bits for a small price...

they are affirmation boards, little angel hangers, cardboard sundries, etcetera )

after a short duration of THUNDER, LIGHTENING, and a TEENSY spot of rain!

GLORIOUS!

if you can't tell...

that is my face

that my husband

put on the box

our doughboy pool

came in.

he had it sitting in a chair one morning

and I laughed till I cried!

he said;

"I am telling our family that these are the people wanda swims with every summer"

the day before this he mentioned that the boxes had the same people on them

every summer, and that they just switched them around"

well now they really HAVE CHANGED!

I hope you laugh...man, the family has!
