WONERFUL WEDNESDAYS...

 my last...
2
angels in May

as the sun was going down...

 the MOON began...

 to show his face!
I love when this happens!

this is as close as I could get to these 4 babies,
and mama, so the pic is not so clear.

on this day, another pair of finches built their nests too close for comfort.
and there was fighting, frittering and fretting, going on all morning.
until the next door neighbors, little babies took flight!

then all was quiet, except for feeding time, within the Miller's rafters!

FRIDAY ART JOURNAL...dyeing, drying, hanging "custom drapes"...

i accidentely found this one, that i did sometime this week,
i haven't a clue when?

this one will get toned down...already started on her face this a.m.
that's how i discovered the one above ;)
funny stuff, my life!

 yesterday
PERFECT
weather
for; washing and re-dyeing our
custom CHEESE CLOTH CURTAINS ;)

 in our own home...
i don't dig curtains or drapes, for whatever reasons...
finally...

a few years ago, i dressed our windows!
coming up with this inexpensive way and i just
love them!
and even better, so does Richard.
later in the day he said;
"i sure like how they blow 'like that' in the wind...
pitter patter ;)

Misty Mawn is the artist of the Rose painting,
and Mr. Miller is the artist that made our
copper curtain rods, with oak leaves on the ends...
JUST RIGHT and SOFTLY....

THE DRAGONFLY...

 CUPBOARD DOOR

 10 1/2" X 28"

Paint, modeling paste, papers, cheese cloth (mimic a wing)...

 Photo Transfers, Fibers

 Dragon Flies....

Text...

i understand (but abhor) when people ask me how long a piece of art has taken me...
for so many reasons, i know they want to KNOW...
and for so many reasons, i don't want to say, most of the time.
One piece might take a few hours, another, a few days, weeks, months and this one...

if you were to ask...;)
a year...or it could have taken 6 months...

you see, i NEVER EVER keep track.
it seriously is not important to me HOW LONG...

it's what i LOVE
it's what i am PASSIONATE about
it's what i darn near live for some times
IT IS
;)

HAPPY TUESDAY FRIENDS
and thank you always, those that leave a comment,
giving me clues as to how a piece might make you feel,
the colors you like, the style of something that speaks to you,
and more!

THANK YOU

WHIMSICAL DAYS...

 a time to play...

 yesterday...

 finding my way...

 remembering to play,

 AT LEAST...
once a DAY!

LETTING my paint brush and colors
in my mind's eye
take over
SLOWLY
SURELY
APTLY
my WAY...

 allowing my color loves to
come through
from my heart

so many days of THIS...
such a premonition of rain...
yet not...
we'll all survive
and find the ALIVE in our earth
reveling in the OFFERS
chiming in with the crickets, birds and frogs...
RELISHING all at each given moment.
